Well... helloooo there. Did I mention that Atlantic City was just really flipp'n fantastic? It was the best. How do I even begin? Well, I suppose from the beginning. 'Gus and I met up with my friend Melissa at her house, pretty darn early in the morning. We were actually on time. Can you imagine that? I can't. We then stopped to pick up her friend, Kimberly, and proceeded on our way to New Jersey. Some how we got lost, but it wasn't my fault, because I was in the back seat entertaining the sleepy head 'Gus. I obviously wasn't doing a great job, because she kept passing out. The nerve.
Melissa wanted to bypass the Ferry, but somehow ended right on the ferry. That was fine with 'Gus and I, because we wanted to ride it anyway. 'Gus kept getting a kick out of the guy on the intercom. She loved how he whispered sweet nothings to her over the the PA system. Nice. Moving on... we some how got separated from Melissa and Kimberly, and some how 'Gus and I ended up at the bar ordering drinks. Not bad if you ask me. Hmmm... ok... this is going to take to long to write... so instead I'm going to do highlights of the trip.
HIGHLIGHTS OF MY ATLANTIC CITY TRIP:
1. Buying fruit for the ladies and getting harassed about it. (Except the Hippie 'Gus, she was all over the fruit)
2. Getting lost
3. Trying to avoid ferry, but end up taking ferry
4. Looking drunk after one drink on ferry
5. Getting to hotel and 'Gus & I pass out while Melissa & Kimberly gamble
6. Seeing a Mullet
7. Old people at slot machines with oxygen tanks sitting in the seat beside them
8. Eating a super rich, creamy, chocolaty piece of heaven for dessert
9. Guzzling down an Irish Car Bomb
10. Seeing Kathy Griffin's Comedy Show
11. Walking out the wrong door after show, end up walking through the Taxi tunnel under the garage
12. Getting back to hotel and calling it a night, except for Melissa & Kimberly who gamble some more
13. Wake up at 11:00 a.m. the next morning, and finally leave the room by maybe 1:00 or 1:30
14. Go to Outlet Mall and shop and get separated from Melissa & Kimberly again
15. Not bringing my cell phone so I could call Melissa to find her
16. Eating a Chili Dog & Root Beer Float
17. Finding a Taxi cab to take us back
18. Get my cell phone and see 3 missed calls from Melissa
19. Go to dinner, but am still overly stuffed from Chili Dog, but still order a heavy meal with mashed potatoes
20. Go to the gambling rooms and watch Melissa play poker
21. Leave poker room and watch 'Gus play the slots
22. Go to the tiny bar and finally order Cranberry & Vodka after waiting 20 minutes for the overly stressed/sweaty bartender, who doesn't have Jager for me to get my Red Head Slut drink
23. Drink my Cranberry Juice... (not enough vodka)
24. Go to a market and drool over the desserts
25. Almost pass out from finding my favorite candy of all time at the market, which is really rare to find in America (Kinder Eggs)
26. Go to bed
27. Awaken by 2 pretty drunk and giggly ladies entering the room around 4:30 in the morning after a long night of gambling
28. Wake up at 9 a.m.
29. Enter the empty elevator
30. Elevator is full by 4th floor beneath us
31. A Young Woman tries to get on elevator with her friends, but man yells at her that it's to full...
and tells her to 'Use her head.'
32. Young Girl gets angry and as the elevator door closes, she says to the man 'Dick Face!'
33. Walk to a restaurant for Breakfast
34. 'Gus and I Walk on Boardwalk for a few blocks, while Melissa and Kimberly gamble a little more
35. Meet up with Melissa & Kimberly and grab some very tasty Gelato's.
26. Leave Atlantic City around 2:00.
27. Get lost
28. Seeing a Giant Patriotic Woman on the side of the street, jumping out of car and taking photos of it. (Apparently it was on the Comedy Central)
29. Going to Burger King for dinner. Ordering my sandwich, bring it back to the table, go to the restroom, come back and sit down, open up my sandwich and see a huge bite taken out of my sandwich, yell out 'EEEEeeeeeew!', the other ladies start laughing, Melissa blurts out that 'Gus did it.
Thank's 'Gus.
30. Get home late and head over to bed
31. Ya'll are try'n to kill me.
Today's photo is from my trip to the Virgin Music Fesitval. Patty and I went to China Town for a little bit and walked around. These people are China Town Stoop Sitters. Enjoy.
